About Us
Established in 2009, Legacy Youth Cheer & Dance is a non-profit organization providing competitive cheer, dance, and hip hop teams for ages 9-16. Our coaches are professionally certified and have years of cheer and dance experience. We have coached and choreographed for several non-profit and all-star youth cheer and dance teams, affiliated with professional and competitive cheer organizations. We are family friendly and love what we do! We feel that it is important for our team to learn about the structure of organized athletics, both in the studio and at competitions. It is our hope that with this knowledge, they will gain confidence and learn how to set and meet goals, not only as an individual but also as a team. We consistently promote achievement and the pursuit of excellence with all of our athletes. Most importantly, we want our athletes to have fun and grow together in a welcoming, non-threatening environment.
Positive Role Models for Girls and Young Women
Our Directors and Head Instructors Jacqui Boone and Latisha Bullard are motivating young women who exemplify independence, confidence, and positivity. All three girls divide their time between their studies, choreographing and coaching for Legacy’s Competitive Team. Ask any of their students or their parents and you will find how devoutly their girls look up to them and how they, in turn, maintain personal and caring relationships with all of their girls and families!

Jacqui Boone
Jacqui is 23 years old, currently attending Los Medanos College, Jacqui is a certified cheer and song instructor for JAMZ and is employed at the Nines Restaurant. She hopes to transfer to a 4 year University to major in Psychology. She has been cheerleading and dancing for over 10 years with Edna Hill Middle School, Liberty High School, and JAMZ. Jacqui has coached nationally ranked teams for Edna Hill, Legends All-Stars, Delta Patriots, Bristow Middle School and Legacy Cheer and Dance. She loves to coach because she wants to share her passion for cheerleading with kids and most importantly help them improve in cheerleading and dance as well as build their self esteem!
LaTisha Bullard
LaTisha is 23 years old and is a certified cheer and song instructor for JAMZ. She has cheered and danced for over 15 years. LaTisha has coached and cheered with national ranking teams. She has many years of experience with choreography from making up dances for beginning and intermediate dance classes in high school to choreographing for last year’s nationally placed hip hop team. She has the ability to lead a team proudly, having 7 years of coaching experience. She loves kids and truly enjoys watching them learn and grow into our future cheerleaders and dancers!
